In this role, you will oversee the control and flow of inventory within the business whilst balancing stock levels, ensuring availability, minimising costs, improving operational efficiency and reducing losses. OH&S and GMP standards are key all whilst working collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.ResponsibilitiesInventory Monitoring and Control Inventory monitoring and control to ensure adequate stock for business operationsEnsure inventory movements have been recorded systematically and accurately to maintain optimal inventory levelsIdentify and manage finished goods approaching shelf lifeManagement of goods on hold ensuring the recorded status is accurate and goods are released within agreed timelines to avoid negative impacts on DIFOTEnsure 3PL’s inventory aligns with the company’s stock control systemsStock Management Manage the end-to-end monthly stock take programSet up and manage periodic stock counts and audits ensuring system accuracy and reconciliationMonitor receivals, despatches, transfers and replenishments ensuring accuracy throughoutDevelop trend reports to support root cause analysisData Analysis Analyse inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and mitigate potential shortages or overstock situationsProcess Improvement Drive continual avenues of cost saving initiativesImplement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce wasteReporting Prepare regular reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and operational efficiency for upper managementTake ownership of the ERP requirements for the warehouseAdhoc duties Adhoc duties as requiredMay be required to operate a forklift Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Zero downtime contributionInventory accuracy: >/= 98%Finished goods on hold:Team DIFOT: >/= 98%Warehouse GMP: >/= 100%QualificationsProven leadership skills, providing direction and support to ensure the team delivers the warehouse KPI’sPrevious experience in inventory management with a strong understanding of inventory management software and systems.Intermediate to advance Excel capabilitiesExperience using ERPs with SAP advantageousExcellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical abilityExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory recordsForklift license preferredApplicants must be able to work in Australia without any ongoing work restrictions.
