APM TerminalsJob Title: Inventory Officer – Yard & Warehouse OperationsLocation: Commercial Vehicle Yard , Panvel - MaharashtraJob PurposeTo manage and reconcile inventory across the yard and warehouse, ensuring accuracy, system discipline, and audit compliance. The role demands expertise in SAP, advanced Excel capabilities, and proactive coordination to support dispatch readiness and cost control.Key Responsibilities📦 Inventory ControlMaintain real-time inventory records of vehicles, spare parts, and consumables using SAPConduct daily physical verification and reconcile with system stockMonitor vehicle movement (inbound/outbound) and ensure timely updates in SAPIdentify and resolve stock discrepancies with root cause analysis🧾 Documentation & ReportingPrepare daily MIS reports on inventory status, vehicle aging, and stock variance using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards)Ensure documentation accuracy for GRNs, gate passes, and dispatch recordsSupport audit teams with validated inventory data and compliance records🔄 System & Process ManagementOperate SAP and yard management systems for inventory tracking and reportingImplement FIFO/FEFO principles for parts and consumablesCoordinate with export and dispatch teams for timely inventory release👥 Coordination & SupportLiaise with warehouse, admin, and transport teams to align inventory flowAssist in planning for stock replenishment and consumable procurementSupport P&L tracking by providing inventory-related cost inputsQualifications & SkillsCriteria DetailsEducation Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or CommerceExperience 3–5 years in inventory roles within automotive, logistics, or warehousingTechnical Skills SAP (MM/WM modules), Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards), inventory reconciliationSoft Skills Detail-oriented, analytical, dependable communicatorMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
