They are looking for a capable candidate who can work as part of a team but independently when needed.

Your Impact / ResponsibilitiesLead and improve process controlling across the company's financial operationsOptimize purchase processes, including procurement, vendor management, and cost trackingConduct in‑depth cost controlling for projects and purchasing, identifying efficiency improvementsDevelop benchmarking analyses, comparing the companies cost models against industry peers to inform strategic decisions Manage and track grant funding by monitoring allowable expenses, ensuring compliance with funding agency guidelines, preparing financial reports, and reconciling grant budgets against actual project expenditures.

Qualifications / Who You AreBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldProficient in financial controlling, including month-end closing (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)Experience with financial software and skilled in ExcelStrategic thinker with strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting complex financial dataAble to work in a fast‑moving, evolving start-up environmentEssential - Fluent in both German and English Preferred Experience / ExtrasStartup or high‑growth company experienceKnowledge of financial modelling and corporate valuationExposure to publicly funded projects and associated project controlling/reportingWhy JoinCompetitive salary & benefitsGreat working environment Exciting fast growth business
