The platform addresses the critical financing gap caused by market volatility and integrity failures by deploying trust infrastructure. Actively defining a new fiduciary standard for African/Asia carbon assets, Karbon-Assure unlocks stable capital required for long-term socio-economic transformation across the continent's communities.Role DescriptionThe Investor Board member will serve as a critical link between Karbon-Assure's innovative technical model and the global financial and development communities. This role requires individuals who are ready to commit both their expertise and their capital.Investment Requirement: This role requires a personal capital investment into Karbon-Assure's current fundraising round, with details provided upon successful interview.Strategic Investment Guidance: Advising the Executive Team on future capital formation strategies, strategic financing, and securing partnerships with development banks and institutional investors.Governance & Fiduciary Duty: Serving as a fiduciary on the Board of Directors, ensuring the company's governance and reporting structures meet the high standards required by global investment funds and climate regulatory bodies.Network Mobilization: Introduction to relevant senior decision-makers in target funding, policy, and institutional partnership networks (e.g., private equity, sovereign funds, UN/Multilateral agencies).Commercial Validation: Leveraging deep expertise in finance, commodities, or climate policy to critically review and validate the platform’s business model and commercialization roadmap, specifically focusing on de-risking financial flows. QualificationsWe are seeking a visionary leader with a proven track record in Climate financial ecosystems and a commitment to African development.Required Experience:2+ years of senior leadership experience in institutional finance, venture capital, investment banking, or specialized commodity/carbon trading.Active experience as an Angel Investor, Venture Partner, or Strategic Investor, demonstrating capacity and willingness to participate in early-stage funding.Demonstrable expertise in structured finance, project finance, or transactional carbon markets.An understanding of climate finance integrity demands and equitable benefit-sharing mechanisms.Established, high-level network within the global capital markets, institutional investment landscape, or international climate cooperation agencies.Location & Commitment: This is an equity-linked position requiring a commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per month for board meetings, strategic reviews, and advisory calls.
