As an Investment Analyst in our Data & Risk team, you'll help shape how we invest by building smart models, analysing performance and risk data, and supporting key decisions across diverse portfolios.You'll work closely with experienced Portfolio Managers, learn fast, and see your insights influence long-term outcomes for our members. The opportunity Development of risk analytics and performance dashboards, including using Aladdin softwareDevelop, maintain and analyse cashflow forecasts and their impact on financial performanceDevelop and monitor sensitivity and variance analysis models to increase the accuracy of cashflow forecasts and to optimise liquidity and capital deploymentEmploy mathematical models, statistical tools and visualization techniques to identify trends and detect outliersAssist with developing and maintaining databases, and data collection systems to feed analysis as appropriateReporting and presentations of results to key stakeholdersAbout You1-2 years of experience in a quantitative roleBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Science, STEM or other quantitative field. Masters/PhD will be considered as an advantage. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyStrong critical thinking skills and robust problem-solving abilities to interpret data and analyse results using advanced mathematical and statistical modelling techniquesExcellent written and presentation abilities, with the capacity to communicate effectively across all organisational levels, including the ability to communicate with influenceProficiency in a coding language such as R, Matlab, Julia, Python, VBA, SQL, or Power BI (Preferred)Experience with risk systems such as Aladdin, FactSet, StatPro, Macrobond, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or equivalents (Preferred)Interest, experience, or knowledge of financial markets, particularly quantitative finance (Preferred)Interest or background in asset management across a broad range of asset classes (Preferred)Knowledge and/or experience of the superannuation environment (Preferred)Familiarity with advanced mathematical and statistical techniques such as (non-)linear regression, ARIMA, VaR, Monte Carlo or stochastic simulations, and Bayesian statistics (Preferred)What can we offer you?BenefitsOur employees are passionate about what we do and are proud to be part of an organisation which helps everyday Australians achieve a brighter future.
