You'll work with senior leaders to identify, analyze, and implement investment opportunities that create lasting value.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate strategic opportunities by assessing fit with investment appetite, analyzing benefits and risks, conducting financial analysis, and determining valuation and returnsExecute transactions from start to finish, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and documentationCollaborate with Business Unit leaders and key internal and external partners throughout the transaction lifecycleSupport value creation for portfolio companies through active engagement with company managementPrepare decision-making materials for executive committees, including Corporate Development Investment Committee and Group Executive CommitteeMonitor industry trends in insurance and reinsurance sectors through continuous engagement with external and internal stakeholdersTravel regionally to oversee existing investments and conduct due diligence on new opportunitiesAbout The TeamCorporate Development is a global team located in New York, Zurich, London and Hong Kong and is part of Swiss Re's Group Asset Management division. Our two primary functions are to lead M&A activities for Swiss Re at the Group and Business Unit levels and oversee a portfolio of direct private equity minority interest investments in insurance-related businesses.About YouYou're an analytical professional with transaction experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You combine financial acumen with excellent communication skills and have a passion for deal-making.
