Company DescriptionNational Capital Limited, a subsidiary of National Life Insurance Company Limited, is a SEBON-licensed institution specializing in Investment Management and Investment Banking services.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Investment Analyst located at Panipokhari, Kathmandu. The Investment Analyst will be responsible for screening potential investment opportunities and presenting in-depth analysis on identified opportunities to support investment decisions for proprietary funds as well as institutional and individual clients.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and screen potential investment opportunities across asset classes.Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses (business model deep-dive, financial modeling, valuation, risk assessment, scenario analysis).Prepare investment theses and succinct, data-driven recommendations.Support decision-making for proprietary funds, institutional accounts, and high-net-worth clients.Monitor portfolio positions, track performance, and highlight risks and opportunities.Collaborate with portfolio managers, research, operations, and sales teams to communicate insights periodically.Assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and client communications.QualificationsBBA or equivalentCFA candidates or former participation in college-level stock-pitching competitions preferredExperience in a similar role would be a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesFamiliarity with qualitative and quantitative analyses and financial modelingHOW TO APPLYPlease submit your resume, a cover letter outlining your relevant experience, and a short (2-page thesis) example of an investment analysis you have conducted to nationalcapitallimited@gmail.com
