Established Investment management firm with AUM of US $5bn is seeking a Fundamental Investment Analyst with a strong background in the Japanese equity market (public or private sector are both welcome)Responsibilities:Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of Japanese equities, including financial modelling, valuation, and risk assessment.Evaluate potential investment opportunities in the private equity space, focusing on Japanese companies.Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to inform investment decisions.Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement investment strategies.Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, analysts, and company management teams.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field5-9 years of experience in the Japanese equities market (Private Equity background preferred)Fluency in Japanese and EnglishEntrepreneurial, intellectually-curious, excellence-driven, team-oriented player
