We are passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and guiding them through all stages of life with personalized investment advice.If you are looking for a long-term opportunity with a Portfolio Manager that supports professional development and high standards, we would love to meet you.ResponsibilitiesPortfolio and Administrative SupportProcess transactions such as wires, EFTs, contributions, withdrawals, and transfers in a timely mannerFacilitate account openingPrepare investment performance reports and quarterly reportsDocument transactions and client communications and ensure regulatory compliance Client Support and Relationship ManagementCollaborate with the Portfolio Manager and client service teams to deliver a seamless client experience and contribute to internal improvementsRespond to client calls and emails, resolve inquiries regarding account activity and performance, maintain documentation, and escalate issues as neededMaintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulationsExecute mutual fund, equity and fixed income tradesSchedule and prepare materials for client meetings, including portfolio reviews and investment proposalsMarketing and Social MediaPost to LinkedIn and other social media platformsSupport the creation and distribution of various client communication piecesCoordinate client eventsCOMPETENCIESAnalysis – Assess quantitative and qualitative data, information, or situations to understand the most important details, identify patterns or meaning, and translate it into useful recommendations, decisions, or actionsCoordination – Prioritize, organize, and manage information, people, assets, resources, messages, tasks and/or activities to achieve a goal within timelinesCustomer Service – Determine needs, capture relevant information, apply internal policy or regulation, and escalate and prioritize the requests of customers to answer inquiries, fulfill transactions, or resolve issuesDigital Literacy – Use technology, tools, and online resources to find, create, and communicate information or apply new digital tools or systems to do our work, while staying safe and responsible in digital environmentsInvestment and Portfolio Management – Develop, implement, and monitor investment strategies to grow assets, manage risk, and achieve financial goals, while providing informed guidance and support to clients or stakeholdersProduct Knowledge – Maintain and deepen knowledge of company products, services and/or applications in order to align features, benefits, and uses to client or stakeholder needsRegulatory Knowledge – Understand and apply relevant laws, regulations, and standards to meet legal and ethical requirements and reduce risk for clients and the organization Knowledge And ExperienceMeet CIRO’s educational and experience requirements to meet the qualifications necessary to be approved as an Investment Representative*Investment industry experience is an assetIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel and Outlook)Exceptional verbal communication skillsStrong writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and professional contentKnowledge of Broadridge’s Dataphile and/or Salesforce is an assetArticulate, tactful and confident interacting with clientsExceptional attention to detail and skilled at working efficiently and accuratelyA team player with a proven record of building trusting and productive relationshipsStrong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesDisciplined, driven and operates with a high level of accountabilitySocial media experience is an assetNote: These regulatory and continuing education requirements are subject to change under the upcoming CIRO proficiency model criteria, effective January 1, 2026.What We OfferA culture of openness, collaboration and respect is foundational to our firm. This role has an expected salary and commission range of $55,000- $65,000/year, plus the potential for bonuses.
