Investment Associate

Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle Management profiles, is currently looking for an Investment Associate for an Asset Management Company in Lugano.We are seeking a full-time Investment Associate to join the team that focuses on the analysis of liquid and semi-liquid investments (up to Hedge Funds) and on the coverage of existing clients.Main responsibilities:Continuous coverage and in-depth analysis of existing client portfolios, including portfolio optimization for prospective clients and the development of customized investment solutions as neededPerformance monitoring and month-end reporting through our software solutionClient coverage and relationship management support, ensuring high service quality and responsivenessOngoing monitoring of existing funds and scouting of new investment opportunities aligned with the firms’ asset allocation frameworkPreparation of presentations and ad-hoc analyses across asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives and digital assetsPro-active engagement with financial content - independent research, social media insights, podcasts and industry reports - to generate investment ideasRequirements:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics or FinancePreference for candidates with at least 3-4 years of experience in the financial sector, ideally within a Multi Family Office, wealth manager / bank or multi-asset fundStrong proficiency in fund manager analysis and due diligence, asset allocation and portfolio construction. Prior direct client engagement is highly valued.Strong command of Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Capabilities in using AGI tools applied to the world of investment is desirable.Genuine interest and passion in financial markets. Digital Assets knowledge is a plusHigh fluency in English is requiredSpeed, curiosity, analytical mindset and lateral, out of the box thinkingAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and prioritize tasks as neededStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
