Investment Associate

ODM Partners have been retained by our client to support their search for an Associate to join their growing investment team. This is an opportunity to join a well-capitalised, mid-market infrastructure GP with a strong international track record and an active deployment pipeline.The Associate will join a lean team in London, working predominantly across a Core+ to Value-Add strategy spanning sectors such as EV charging, heat networks, transport, and healthcare. The role offers consistent exposure to live transactions, with the opportunity to take ownership across all stages of the investment cycle from analysis and modelling through to execution and portfolio management.Key Requirements Must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship unavailable).3–5 years of experience in the infrastructure sector.Experience at an investor, M&A investment banking team, or Boutique.Strong DCF modelling skills; ideally able to build models from scratch.Exposure to live transaction processes, ideally through to completion.Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate in a small, high-performing team.Candidates should be comfortable operating at Associate level for the next couple of years.Key Responsibilities Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain DCF models to evaluate infrastructure investments.Investment Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to assess risks and returns.IC Materials: Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for Investment Committee and senior management.Due Diligence: Support execution across financial, operational, legal, and commercial workstreams.Portfolio Management: Monitor portfolio performance, providing reporting and insights to drive value creation.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external advisers, including banks, consultants, and legal counsel.Market Insight: Identify sector and macro trends influencing investments.This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, high-calibre infrastructure investment team with strong growth potential.
