Investment Associate / Senior Associate – Private Equity

All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.About the ClientOur client is a Belgian based investment company operating at the crossroads of Private Equity, Real Estate, and Capital Markets.Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and long-term vision, the firm partners with exceptional management teams to build enduring businesses in Belgium and across Europe.Inspired by values of ownership, agility, trust, and operational excellence, the team combines investment discipline with hands-on support to accelerate growth and unlock value.The organization’s flat structure and merit-based culture create a high-performance environment for professionals eager to take initiative and contribute meaningfully.Key ResponsibilitiesDeal Sourcing & Origination:Proactively identify and approach potential investment opportunities through market mapping, sector research, and advisor networking.Investment Analysis & Execution:Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation (DCF, trading & transaction multiples), and due diligence coordination.Transaction Management:Participate in negotiations, investment memoranda drafting, and transaction structuring through to closing.Portfolio Value Creation:Support portfolio company management on strategic and operational projects, including add-on acquisitions and performance improvement.Sector Expertise:Build and maintain a deep understanding of selected verticals (e.g. Business Services, Industrials, or Real Assets).Ideal Candidate Profile3–8 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Transaction ServicesStrong financial modelling and analytical capabilitiesEntrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on and proactive approachExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholdersMaster’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (Vlerick, Solvay, KU Leuven, UGent, etc.)Fluent in Dutch and English; working knowledge of French is an advantageGenuine interest in entrepreneurship, long-term investing, and value creationWhat’s OfferedDirect involvement across the full investment lifecycleClose collaboration with experienced partners and entrepreneursA lean, dynamic, and meritocratic working cultureExposure to diverse sectors and transaction typesCompetitive compensation with bonus and potential carry
