Since 2013, we've evolved from just Scape Australia to now encompass Student Living (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, Scape Australia), Rent to Live (RTL Co.), Affordable Living and Lifestyle Living (Retirement Living, Aveo).As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an exceptional Investment Associate to join our sector-leading Investment Management team.Your Key Responsibilities:In this broad and influential role, you will lead core day-to-day activities across the full investment lifecycle, from origination and analysis to asset management and investor engagement. The key responsibilities have been listed below.1. Strategy DevelopmentContribute to the organisation’s broader investment strategyLead research and analysis on markets, trends, and opportunitiesDevelop, maintain, and review financial models, cashflows, and investment feasibilitiesSupport the assessment of new investment and development opportunitiesBuild strong relationships with finance, development, and operations to ensure alignment2. Strategy ExecutionSupport and lead the execution of real estate transactionsAssist with equity and debt capital raising activitiesCoordinate with internal and external experts (tax, legal, HR, advisors) to deliver transactions smoothlyPrepare documentation and analysis to support investment decisions3. LeadershipGuide and mentor team members, including an Investment AnalystSupport capability development and succession planning within the teamPromote best practice in modelling, research, reporting, and documentationDevelop and document key processes and ensure knowledge transfer across the teamCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks4. Stakeholder EngagementBuild strong relationships with existing and prospective investorsAct as a trusted adviser to internal stakeholders across finance, development, and operationsSupport investor communications, reporting, and information requestsProactively identify opportunities or issues across the investment portfolioKnowledge, Skills, and Experience: 4–5+ years in real estate, investment banking, corporate finance, or consultingStrong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilityCommercial mindset with the ability to translate data into strategyConfident stakeholder engagement and communication skillsEntrepreneurial thinking, curiosity, and a drive for continuous improvementUnderstanding of real estate investment or development (advantageous)Perks & BenefitsAt The Living Company, we are all about creating and sharing the good vibes.
