Investment Banking Associate | Generalist

**REMOTE** (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego only)Selby Jennings is partnered with a local boutique Investment Bank in Los Angeles well known for their sell-side M&A practice. This Investment Bank works remotely with bankers spread across Southern California, and is know for having a strong team comprised of amicable, sharp, and diverse individuals with a track record of success.This bank is currently seeking an Investment Banking Associate to work on sell side M&A transaction covering the Generalist lower middle market sectors. Ideal candidates come from similar boutique or mid-market Investment Banks with deep experience in sell-side M&A.Key Responsibilities:Conduct detailed financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence.Prepare pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials for client meetings.Assist in the execution of transactions, including drafting transaction documents and coordinating with clients and other advisors.Perform industry and company research to support business development and client engagement efforts.Monitor and analyze market trends, financial news, and economic data to provide insights and recommendations.Collaborate with team members across different departments to ensure seamless execution of projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Prior internship or work experience in investment banking, finance, or related fields is a plus.If you're interested, don't hesitate to apply!
