Exceptional opportunity to join Dragon Capital - Ukraine’s leading investment firmInvestment Director Reporting to: Managing Director Location: UkraineRole OverviewThe Investment Director will play a key leadership role in originating, executing, and managing direct investments in Ukraine. The successful candidate will drive deal sourcing, lead due diligence and transaction execution, and oversee portfolio companies to deliver superior financial and strategic outcomes.This is a senior position requiring strong investment judgment, relationship management skills, and the ability to work closely with partners, co-investors, and management teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDeal Origination & ExecutionIdentify, source, and develop investment opportunities aligned with the fund’s strategy.Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, entrepreneurs, advisors, and industry stakeholders.Lead transaction execution: financial modeling, valuation, structuring, negotiation of term sheets, and coordination of due diligence and legal processes.Prepare and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.Portfolio ManagementServe on boards or act as a lead contact for portfolio companies.Work with management teams to develop and implement value-creation plans.Monitor performance against financial and operational targets; identify and address key risks and opportunities.Support exit planning and execution.Leadership Mentor and develop junior team members.Represent the firm externally and contribute to fundraising or investor relations as needed.Qualifications & Experience10+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or management consulting, with a strong track record of deal execution and portfolio value creation.Demonstrated experience in origination and direct transaction leadership.Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.Deep understanding of transaction structuring, legal documentation, and due diligence processes.Proven ability to manage relationships with senior executives and co-investors.Strong commercial instincts, negotiation skills, and integrity.Fluent English and Ukrainian.We welcome qualified candidates to submit their CV and a brief cover letter to apply@dragon-capital.com with the subject line “Investment Director”
