Investment Director

Our client, growth buyout investor with a track record in the healthcare industry, is looking for an Investment Director to join team. Key ResponsibilitiesDeal Origination: Identify and evaluate attractive investment opportunities in MedTech, Pharma Services, and healthcare sectors.Transaction Leadership: Lead and coordinate the entire deal process—including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and execution.Investment Thesis Development: Conduct deep market analysis, competitive landscaping, and company assessments to form robust investment rationales.Portfolio Engagement: Serve as a trusted partner to portfolio company management teams, driving value creation, governance, and strategic development.Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with founders, intermediaries, co-investors, and advisors across the DACH and broader European healthcare ecosystem.Team Mentorship: Support and mentor junior investment professionals, contributing to a strong and collaborative team culture.Requirements:Professional Experience: 7+ years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or Strategy Consulting – preferably with a focus on healthcare transactions.Industry Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of and network in the healthcare sector, especially MedTech and Pharma Services.Education: Degree in business, economics, science, engineering, or medicine; MBA or advanced degree a plus.Analytical Acumen: Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and problem-solving skills.Execution Excellence: Proven ability to independently manage complex transactions under time pressure.Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on attitude.Communication: Fluent in English and German (both spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.Apply directly: yury.lysuk@peak-seek.com
