MSREI currently manages $54 billion of gross real estate assets worldwide on behalf of its clients.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Country Head of the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing team in France, the Senior Associate role provides investment professionals with a broad exposure:all real estate sectors (logistics, residential, student housing, hospitality, retail, office),across the return spectrum (core, value-add, opportunistic),different structures (asset and share deals, operating platforms, alternative lending) andacross the life cycle of the investments and the underlying assets, including developmentsThe Individual Will Have The Opportunity To Contribute BroadlyAcquisitions thoroughly evaluate new investment opportunities, to conduct in-depth sector research and analysis, to develop views on valuation and resulting returns compose and present investment memos and presentationsmanage new acquisition processes including due diligence, negotiation of documents, internal approvals support the financing and refinancing of portfolio assetsAsset Management drive the execution of the business plan of the acquired assets, portfolios and portfolio companies, recommend asset management initiatives to continuously drive value creation manage relationships with management teams and operating partnersevaluate strategic options and exit scenarios manage disposal processesMarket Coverage contribute to the French market coverage, interacting with real estate market participants to stay informed and to identify relevant opportunities to deploy capitalInvestor Coverage provide support to the investor relations effortTeam Development manage, motivate, train and coach junior team membersRequired SkillsStrong academic credentials from a leading university; degree in Management or Engineering ideally with specialisation in Finance, Real Estate or a related fieldSubstantial experience and relevant track record in a similar role within real estate private equity or in investment bankingStrong analytical and financial skills, high degree of attention to detail and ease with numbersIn-depth real estate and capital market knowledge combined with commercial acumenProven process management skillsTrack-record of being proactive, self-motivated and results orientedFluent in French and English, additional European languages are desirableWhat You Can Expect From Morgan StanleyWe are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
