Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage the cleaning teams responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all public areas within the mall. This role requires a proactive supervisor who can efficiently coordinate between different cleaning teams, oversee maintenance of restrooms and common spaces, and ensure a pleasant, sanitary environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will be a hotel graduate with a minimum of 4 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in hotels or large shopping malls.
She should possess strong leadership skills and be capable of motivating and managing diverse teams while upholding high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Key of responsibility: · Supervise housekeeping staff across all mall public areas, including restrooms, lounges, corridors, and stairways. · Train and guide cleaning teams on daily cleaning routines, maintenance procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. · Schedule employee shifts and arrange replacements when needed to ensure full coverage during working hours. · Monitor the cleanliness and hygiene standards of all public facilities, including restrooms, and ensure compliance with sanitation policies.
· Motivate team members, address their concerns, and resolve any workplace issues promptly and professionally. · Conduct regular inspections and spot-checks to guarantee consistent quality. · Manage inventory and timely replenishment of cleaning supplies and equipment. · Respond effectively to customer complaints and special requests related to cleanliness. · Coordinate with mall operations and security teams to maintain smooth housekeeping services. · Lead and participate in deep cleaning projects as required. Qualifications & Experience: · Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management or related field is preferred. · Minimum 4 years of practical housekeeping supervision experience in hotels or shopping malls.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. · Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. · In-depth knowledge of cleaning products, sanitation regulations, and safety procedures. · Ability to work within set schedules, from 10: 00 AM to 7: 00 PM. · Fluent English speaking and writing skills are essential.
