Run what runs the world.This Position Reports ToIS ManagerABB Robotics is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Operations Engineer to join our global IS team. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Azure-based cloud infrastructure, supporting over 7,500 employees across 50 countries and 150 sites. You will work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and DevOps to drive operational excellence and enable digital transformation across our business.Your ResponsibilitiesEnsure high availability and performance of cloud infrastructure componentsDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code Automation using Terraform, Ansible, or Azure AutomationLead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviewsProvide guidance on performance tuning, reliability engineering, and best operational practicesCollaborate with application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deploymentsYou will automate deployment pipelines, implement self-healing and auto-scaling mechanisms, and support capacity planning and resource optimization. You will ensure infrastructure operations align with InfoSec policies and compliance requirements, support audit readiness, and maintain operational documentation. You will also help scale observability and DevOps tooling across environments while bridging gaps between infrastructure, development, and security teams.The position is global. The preferred locations are Polen, India, Spain, Italy, Sweden and China.Your BackgroundMore than 5 years of experience in cloud operations, site reliability engineering, or DevOps rolesStrong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Automation)Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or BashExperience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or JenkinsFamiliarity with ITIL principles and service management practicesExciting Career Opportunity in RoboticsThis role sits within ABB’s Robotics business, a leading global robotics company.
