Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and independent Logistics Engineer to take the lead in optimizing internal logistics, warehousing operations, and material handling processes. This role focuses on designing efficient internal flows, implementing advanced logistics technologies (including AGVs), and continuously improving packaging and storage systems. You will work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and international partners to ensure high-performance logistics operations across the organization. Responsibilities: Design and optimize logistics equipment and handling systems (AGVs, forklifts, supply trolleys, racking, etc. ). Plan, standardize, and optimize internal material flows across production and storage areas.

Review and enhance packaging regulations for incoming materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods. Determine packaging needs, initiate purchase requests, and support procurement during implementation. Optimize warehouse layouts, transportation zones, and interim storage areas to adapt to volume changes and new projects. Lead the development and implementation of modern warehousing technologies, tools, and IT systems. Support and manage logistics-related aspects of new product and line design projects in cooperation with the Technology team. Identify and resolve deviations in warehousing and logistics processes, including system-related issues. Share knowledge and transfer best practices across internal teams and international locations.

Ensure alignment with internal safety, quality, and compliance standards. Coordinate regularly with internal departments and external partners to support project success. Authorized to take decisions regarding the introduction and improvement of logistics technologies and workflows. Responsible for monitoring and enhancing logistics and warehousing processes within your area. Accountable for maintaining work quality, process efficiency, and timely issue resolution. Expected to identify operational risks and improvement opportunities and propose appropriate measures. Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring confidentiality of business-critical information. Expected to stay up to date with relevant legislation, technical standards, and innovations in logistics and warehousing. Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or a related technical discipline. Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in logistics process design, optimization, or project execution. Required Skills: Strong understanding of logistics and material flow processes. Knowledge of warehouse technology, packaging standards, and internal transport solutions. Familiar with production operations and quality control procedures. Project management experience or knowledge preferred. Certified in occupational health and fire safety. Proficient in English (spoken and written). Confident using ERP systems, Windows OS, and standard office applications. Preferred Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with excellent planning ability.
