Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Underwriter, in our Consumer Solutions team.
The Underwriter will be responsible for assisting direct personal and commercial clients with the processing of new and renewal business and policy alterations according to established guidelines. This role services clients directly through face-to-face interactions, email, and phone conversations. QualificationsAt least 3 years' experience in Underwriting and Insurance Policy DocumentationProfessional certification in insurance underwriting, such as the Certificate in Insurance or equivalent, requiredExcellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skillsProficient computer technology skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently and make informed decisionsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to maintain teamwork and integrity within a professional, high-paced environment
