Join Cabinet Office as an Occupational Health Clinic Nurse Trainee and gain 12 months of hands-on occupational health experience. With our full support, you’ll then take the next step completing a two-year Occupational Health degree (in your own time) and advancing into a specialist role. As a Registered Nurse, you’ll deliver vital services to government staff and private clients across the Island, including health surveillance, pre-employment screening, vaccinations, and workplace health advice.

Be promoted to Band X within 2 years. The Band 5 Annex T posts are development posts where you will undergo a period of preceptorship with the aim of gaining the competencies required to fulfil a Band 6 position.

During this period you will be assessed and if you meet the competencies there will be an increase in your salary as you progress up to Band 6. A generous annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days and 10 Public Holidays. Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, the IOM Public Service offers two pension arrangements: the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2011 or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) Arrangement.
