About The RoleAre you a passionate and adaptable teacher ready to make a meaningful impact? Cronk y Berry Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join our experienced and supportive team within our Specialist Provision Centre. Within our centre, we support children with complex needs ranging from reception age to Year 6. You will be required to provide quality teaching and learning experiences and develop plans of action and materials to support learners with their bespoke curriculum offer.

The ability to use your own initiative and have a dynamic approach when tailoring the provision to meet the individual needs of our children is essential. We’re looking for someone who’s a committed team player, with a flexible, adaptable approach to teaching and learning and willing to embrace the challenges of our setting. If you are returning to the island and have participated in the Department’s Student Loan scheme for tuition fees, the loan will be repaid by the Department upon completion of your second year working as a teacher at one of the island’s schools (subject to a maximum of £7,500 for a three-year degree course, or £10,000 for a four-year degree course). For those relocating or returning to the island you will receive a refund on your national insurance contributions during the first 12 months of your employment, up to £4,400.
