About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated IT & Telecommunications Systems Administrator to oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of IT systems, applications, and telecommunications infrastructure — including telephony and internet networks. This role also provides technical support to toll systems and intelligent transportation systems, ensuring the smooth and secure functioning of all network operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain IT and telecommunications infrastructure across multiple entities.Support the Technical Analyst for intelligent and toll systems.Develop annual budgets and oversee related projects.Prepare and analyze RFQs and RFPs for IT and telecommunications needs.Respond to network and system issues, coordinating with vendors to minimize downtime.Coordinate and supervise contractors for equipment repairs and upgrades.Implement IT and telecom infrastructure improvement projects.Prepare monthly reports on preventive maintenance and compliance.Maintain accurate inventory of all hardware, software, and IT resources.Manage IT procurement and vendor relations.Ensure optimal operation of company websites and manage domains, SSL certificates, and hosting.Administer corporate mobile plans and billing.Supervise and maintain HelpDesk operations.Create, edit, and manage users and permissions across Microsoft AD, 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure.Manage and maintain telecom systems (VOIP, ISDN, PBX, SIP, LAN, WAN).Support conference room technology and equipment.Implement and maintain IT Governance policies and systems.Train staff on new technologies and ensure best practices across teams.RequirementsEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.5–8 years of experience in similar roles managing complex IT and telecom infrastructures.Certifications:Valid Driver’s License.OSHA 10 certification preferred.Skills & Knowledge:Strong understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software management.Experience managing PCs, firewalls, switches, servers (physical/virtual), and networks with 100+ devices.Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.Troubleshooting experience in hardware, software, and telecommunications.Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite.Knowledge of website management and development.Bilingual (Spanish/English).Work EnvironmentPrimarily office-based with occasional exposure to high-traffic or noisy environments.Regular use of computers and related technology.Must comply with all company safety, health, and environmental policies.
