The ICT Officer will be responsible for maintaining our systems, providing technical support to employees, implementing new technological solutions, and ensuring the overall reliability and security of our network. Main ResponsibilitiesIT Network Support:
Deploy LAN / WAN / SAN and internet related equipment’sPhysical installation of all IT equipment’s in data centres and technical roomsConfigures, updates and backups of all Voice/ LAN/WAN/SAN and internet equipment’sCompleting Service Requests and resolving Incidents received from Service Desk as per Operational Guidelines. IT Voice SupportRegularly update the voice directoryInstall new phones and update policies on phonesEnsure secure phone communication between regions and subsidiariesEnsure support contact canter.
Network And Security MonitoringNetwork equipment performance analysis to pro-actively prevent service interruptionsProduction of internal Network and Voice performance dashboards and reportsIssuing security alerts when required and implementing necessary shut-downs, rollbacks and workaroundsInitiate Problem and Change management, when requiredEscalation of serious security threats or breeches to Infrastructure Management and Service Quality Assurance. The PersonMinimum academic qualification of Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology. Network security qualification, not required but recommended. Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a LAN and WAN administration environment. Project Management. Strong inter- personal and team building skills. Efficient time and task management.
