IT Application Manager

The opportunityAs  IT Application Manager, you  will be responsible for collaborating with Service Managers, Application Manager, Solution Architect and Specialists to estimate the effort for IT solution/services development, change requests and releases. You will be responsible for entire requirements management process.How You Will Make An ImpactCapture, document, analyze, trace, prioritize and agree “End to End” IT application / platform/ solution/ service delivery.Maintain, prevent and correct defects once the solution is implemented.Propose enhancements or making changes to increase the value provided by the system.Work together with the solutioning team to validate the solution is fit for use.Assist in the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IT Services.Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant area of responsibility, contributing technical and business process/data expertise to either support ongoing operations or develop new software.For assigned tasks, executes all actions in IT processes according to agreed RACIS specification.Your backgroundBachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or business management.Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Applications Management in multinational companies.Good to have experience on SAP ProcessKnowledge of process mapping and process re-engineering.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Fluent EnglishHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
