IT Asset Management Practitioner

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled IT Asset Management Practitioner to join our Engineering & Networks team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the Software Asset Management (SAM) function, ensuring compliance, optimization, and efficiency across software licensing and asset operations.You will work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to maintain transparency, accuracy, and control over software assets within a Flexera Operations Management environment.Key Responsibilities𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Manage daily operations in Flexera, including license creation, allocation, contract uploads, and system maintenance.𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Oversee software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements, identify risks, and lead internal or external software audits.𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗘𝗟𝗣) 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Develop and maintain ELPs for major software publishers, ensuring optimal utilization and cost control.𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Coordinate with software vendors for operational activities, renewals, and compliance matters.𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: Prepare and analyze reports on software usage, compliance status, and optimization opportunities for management review.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.3–7 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM).Hands-on experience with Flexera Operations Management is mandatory.Proven understanding of software licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe).Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.Relevant certifications such as Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Certified in IT Asset Management (CITAM) are a plus.Preference will be given to Arabic Nationals and candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia who can join immediately.Also, you can forward your CV through below link for more upcoming Job vacancies: https://cv-fnrco.com
