Our client is a global technology company seeking a IT Audit Manager to strengthen their internal control and risk management framework.Based in Amsterdam, you will ensure the effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGC), support SOX compliance, and help drive continuous improvement in internal audit and risk management processes.Your responsibilities as the IT Audit Manager:• Plan and execute IT audits in line with the annual audit plan and risk priorities.• Perform walkthroughs, control design assessments, and testing of ITGC and SOX-related processes.• Identify control gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance and mitigate risks.• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to align on testing approaches and audit findings.• Prepare concise audit reports and present findings to management.• Support continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practicesCandidate profile:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Audit, or a related field.• 4+ years of IT audit or risk management experience, including 2+ years in a SOX-compliant environment.• Strong knowledge of SOX 404, COBIT, COSO, and NIST frameworks.• Experience auditing ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).• Familiarity with ISO 27001/27701 and cybersecurity controls.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex IT environments.• Clear communicator with the ability to translate technical risks into business terms.• Fluent in English, adaptable, and proactiveDue to the high volume of applications we receive, we’re only able to contact those selected for the next stage of the process.
