Our team is passionate about leveraging technology to simplify operations, enhance efficiency, and elevate the patient experience.We are seeking a proactive, knowledgeable, and people-driven IT Clinical Systems Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and support of our clinical applications and systems. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between clinical operations, IT, and software vendors—ensuring our technology delivers reliable, compliant, and high-quality support for patient care. You’ll also lead our Clinical Systems Training Team, guiding their daily activities and ensuring projects and departmental goals are successfully achieved.What You’ll DoOversee and optimize the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of all clinical applications, including EHR/EMR/PMS, practice management, scheduling, e-prescribing, and patient portals.Serve as the primary liaison with clinical software vendors—managing relationships, SLAs, contracts, and product roadmaps.Coordinate system upgrades and integrations with third-party platforms such as imaging, labs, and billing systems.Partner with clinical leadership and IT to gather user requirements, resolve issues, and ensure systems align with clinical and operational goals.Translate clinical workflows into technology solutions and configurations that enhance efficiency and usability.Lead clinical system projects—from planning through go-live—ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met.Manage and mentor the Clinical Systems Training Team, including onboarding, development, and performance management.Design, evaluate, and improve training programs for clinical software and digital tools, both on-site and online.Develop and maintain training documentation, including guides, FAQs, and support resources.Monitor support requests and implement process or system improvements to reduce recurring issues.Collaborate cross-functionally with Implementation, Conversion, and IT teams to ensure a smooth end-user experience.Partner with Information Security to enforce HIPAA, HITECH, and organizational data security standards.Represent SDB professionally with internal teams, external partners, and vendors, maintaining a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
