Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is looking for a " IT Compliance Specialist (Banking Sector) " for our leading client.Job DescriptionThe Grade for the position is AVP II/AVPIT Compliance Specialist Budget: 300-450k ( we can look at candidates who are a little higher - if they are really good)Location: Karachi, PakistanOverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Compliance Manager to lead and oversee the alignment of IT systems, processes, and activities with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and industry best practices. The successful candidate will serve as the key liaison between IT teams and audit, risk, and compliance bodies (both internal and external), ensuring effective communication, timely issue resolution, and sustained compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities Coordination & Communication Act as the primary point of contact between IT staff and audit, risk, and compliance bodies.Facilitate effective communication to ensure clarity of compliance expectations, audit requirements, and risk mitigation plans.Prepare and deliver regular updates, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Work closely with IT Compliance team representing Infrastructure and OperationsAudit Support Coordinate and manage IT-related audit activities, including gathering documentation, facilitating walkthroughs, and addressing findings. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely and effective implementation of audit recommendations.Monitor and report on audit findings and remediation efforts.Risk Mitigation & ManagementIdentify potential compliance risks in IT operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.Partner with IT leadership to prioritize and address risk mitigation initiatives. Maintain a comprehensive risk register for IT-related compliance issues.4. Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, audit findings, and risk management actions. Generate compliance dashboards and metrics to inform leadership of the status of IT compliance initiatives. Qualifications Required:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT compliance, audit coordination, or risk management.In-depth understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and compliance standards.Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, ISO 27001).A Banking background will be preferred.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred: Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or ITIL.Experience working with external auditors and regulatory agencies.Familiarity with IT security tools and technologies.Key CompetenciesAnalytical ThinkingDetail OrientationProblem-SolvingTeam CollaborationLeadership and Initiative
