Siemens Corp. is looking for a driven IT Data Insights and Project Management Intern to assist with its regional IT Data Insights and Project Management tasks. This internship offers a chance to thrive in a vibrant, global setting where IT, data, and business strategy converge.This role involves contributing to Siemens’ Digital Backbone initiative, enhancing IT infrastructure for application hosting, management, and support. Gain experience in project delivery, data analysis, and executive reporting, while building collaboration skills with global teams.ResponsibilitiesAs an intern, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Offer fresh perspectives and pinpoint trends to improve project management and reporting, prioritizing collaboration, time management, and influence.Drive involvement and ensure progress on key deliverables.Research and share new IT and data-related trends.Analyze project and operational data, presenting results in a meaningful way using appropriate tools.Assist in preparing executive-style reports and presentations for leadership.Facilitate the adoption of project management and reporting tools for improved transparency and operational efficiency.Preferred QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.Strong academic performance (GPA 3.0+ preferred).Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for future visa sponsorship.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Capability to dedicate 40 hours weekly from May through August.Preferred Knowledge, Skills And EducationAbility to bridge between technical and business perspectives.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient knowledge of IT technologies and emerging trends, capable of analyzing project data to facilitate decision-making.Capability to efficiently collaborate and showcase leadership potential with multinational and diverse teams.Independent worker with excellent time management skills and capable of multitasking effectively.Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Knime, Python, R).Experience with reporting/visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).Familiarity with database systems and SQL would be advantageous.Familiarity with project management tools (such as Jira, MS Project, Trello) is advantageous.What You’ll GainBy the end of this internship, you will:Develop skills in data-driven decision-making and executive-level communication.Acquire practical exposure to project management methodologies within an international IT setting.Build exposure to enterprise IT systems, data tools, and reporting environments.Improve your ability to collaborate with diverse, multinational teams.Strengthen your career path with mentorship, professional development, and potential consideration for future full-time opportunities at Siemens.#URDP$24 $31
