Job role: IT Deskside support EngineerWork Location: Bad Homburg, GermanyLanguages: EnglishRole Overview:We are looking for Diploma or Graduate candidates who can provide hands-on desktop and laptop support. The role involves resolving day-to-day technical issues, providing end-user support, and ensuring smooth IT operations at the local site.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops.Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and basic applicationsProvide support for network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi)Assist with user account setup, password resets, and basic IT requestsSupport activities like device imaging, software updates, and patch installationsCoordinate with remote IT teams for escalations when requiredMaintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentationRequired Qualifications:2 years of experince or Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fieldHands-on experience in handling desktop/laptop issues (preferred)Strong understanding of basic hardware and software troubleshootingStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsPreferred Skills:Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft applicationsFamiliarity with ticketing systemsAbility to work independently and take ownership of tasks
