L1/L2 Desktop Support Analyst3-month Daily Rate Contract - Potential extensionInner-west Melbourne Location This is a great opportunity for a Level 1/2 Desktop Support Analyst to join a fantastic team, as part of a highly respected Inner Melbourne Public Sector Organisation. The role will initially be a 3-month contract, with an opportunity to extend for a further 6 months. About YouExperience in IT Support role, troubleshooting issues with both PCs and peripheral hardware.Advanced support skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook/Exchange, and Windows Desktop/Server operating systems.Sound knowledge of general network and communication concepts and devices.Strong problem solving and analytical skills across all IT devices.Ability to demonstrate innovation, flexibility, and adaptability to change.Strong communication skills, and ability to work in high pressure situations working with senior stakeholders. About the RoleDeliver 1st and 2nd level support to internal customers via the Service Desk, meeting all agreed SLAs.Log and monitor all calls via the Service Desk system, ensuring timely resolution.Support all remote site PCs, printers, remote access facilities, and specialist applications across all business units.Install and maintain the PC fleet, operating systems, network components, and mobile devices.Provide software support for all desktop applications including MS Office, Outlook, Authority and HP TRIM.Maintain the accurate ICT Asset Register and update the knowledge base documentation.
