IT Development Manager

Fourlis group, one of the leading Groups of companies in Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Romania in providing quality consumer goods, is currently looking to recruit:IT Development ManagerThe Position:Reporting to the Group IT Director, you will be responsible and accountable for:Platform Architecture & Management: Own the technical roadmap for the digital commerce platform (e.g., Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus)Oversee integrations with ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, WMS, and payment gatewaysTechnical Strategy: Translate business requirements into technical solutionsManage and develop an internal e-commerce team or coordinate with external development partners/agenciesServe as product owner for the Digital Commerce platform, prioritizing backlog items and coordinating feature releasesOversee sprint planning, testing, and go-lives of new functionalities and platform upgradesAlign technical team members with business goals, ensuring efficient communication and clear expectationsEnsure timely resolution of platform issues (bugs, outages, integrations) and act as escalation point.Site Reliability & Performance: Implement monitoring tools and alerts (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Google Cloud Monitoring). Monitor site speed, uptime, scalability, and server health. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and infrastructure risksDigital Commerce Integrations & APIs: Oversee real-time inventory synchronization, pricing rules, and order flow logicCompliance & Accessibility: Ensure the platform complies with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and the European Accessibility Act. Implement secure authentication, data protection measures, and privacy tools in accordance with GDPR.Qualifications & Competencies required:Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Information Technology or related field will be considered as an asset)At least 5 years of experience in a similar job positionStrong knowledge of digital development and commerce platforms (Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, etc.)Solid understanding of agile methodologies and product ownership in a digital environmentExcellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skillsStrong leadership and people management capabilitiesExperience with APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), CDN, CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with WCAG, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other digital compliance standardsPreferred SkillsExperience in retail, fashion, or omnichannel commerceKnowledge of microservices architecture and headless commerceFamiliarity with ERP systems like SAP or Microsoft DynamicsSoft SkillsGood command of the English languageGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and strict deadlinesAchievement drive, initiative taking and problem-solving skillsWilling to learn and embrace new technologiesWe offer:Competitive remuneration & benefits packageExtensive continuous trainingCareer & development prospects in Fourlis group
