The IT Field Engineer is a critical, hands-on role responsible for ensuring the optimal implementation, performance and reliability of our IT SW & HW products across various client or branch locations. This position involves frequent travel to provide on-site and remote technical support, including the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networking equipment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to end-users.Your Impact:Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues at client/branch locationsInstall, configure, and maintain Roche digital products, computer systems, network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), and peripheralsDiagnose and resolve complex networking connectivity issues, system failures, and application problemsPerform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and health checks to minimize downtimeDocument all service and repair actions accurately and timely using our reporting systemManage local inventories of IT equipment and spare partsWho You are:You hold a degree in computer scienceThe experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support, or dedicated Field Engineer roleProven expertise in diagnosing and repairing PC hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common business applicationsStrong practical knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience with network troubleshootingExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical usersRelevant certifications (e.g., SQL, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications) are a strong plusMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with a willingness to travelWho we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
