About Tarshid:Tarshid is the National Energy Services Company, established by the Public Investment Fund to catalyze the development of a more energy efficient Saudi Arabia. The launch of Tarshid is a result of a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance and the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center. Tarshid aims to be a pioneer in the energy efficiency field and to build towards a more sustainable future. Tarshid has a mandate to develop, fund and manage impactful energy efficiency projects in government and commercial sectors that achieve significant energy savings for the Kingdom.Job Summary:The jobholder governs the design and performance of Tarshid’s core infrastructure services, including Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, meeting platforms, and datacenter systems. The role ensures technical integrity, compliance, and alignment with the cloud-first strategy while overseeing service delivery by a managed service vendor.Main Responsibilities:Architecture & Strategy:Own the end-to-end design, architecture, and governance of cloud and systems platforms.Act as the technical authority and design owner for infrastructure services delivered via managed service vendors.Define standards, policies, and procedures for systems, cloud, and datacenter domains.Ensure alignment of technology platforms with Tarshid’s cloud-first strategy.Vendor and Performance Management:Act as the primary point of contact for the managed service provider regarding network services.Monitor and enforce vendor SLAs, ensuring timely reporting and escalation of issues.Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, tracking KPIs and improvement plans.Validate vendor resource allocation and skills meet organizational requirements.Technical Operation, Oversight & Governance:Oversee day-to-day vendor operations across the following domains:Microsoft 365 (Email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)Active Directory and ADFS (On-Prem)Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure and other provider portalsCisco WebEx and AV conferencing solutionsDatacenter hardware and virtualization infrastructureWindows and Linux serversVirtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Nutanix)Database systems (Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, etc.)Backup and DREnsure proper implementation of security controls and patches across related infrastructure systems.Oversee change management processes for related modifications.Step in to operate and troubleshoot complex issues when and as needed.Support managed service engineers in resolving high-severity incidents and escalations.Perform routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to ensure systems availability and performance.Validate incident root cause analysis and corrective actions from the vendor.Collaboration & Enablement:Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive infrastructure delivery.Participate in IT audits, compliance assessments, and risk reviews related to infrastructure services.Qualifications, Experience & Skills :5+ years of experience on IT Infrastructure /IT Engineer; preferably within an Energy industry.Proficiency level in English required, and fluency in Arabic is preferredExpert knowledge of IT infrastructure and Security best practices, procedures, and standardsTechnical Expertise:Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, especially Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.Strong knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, and identity federation.Familiarity with cloud service portals (Oracle Cloud, GCP, Azure).Strong knowledge in server virtualization, Windows/Linux OS, and datacenter technologies.Understanding of Cisco collaboration platforms, AV meeting solutions, and room system integration.General understanding of database administration and support environments.Governance & Oversight:Strong skills in vendor management, SLA enforcement, and service performance tracking.Experience developing and enforcing infrastructure governance frameworks.Competence in change management, configuration control, and lifecycle governance.Soft Skills:Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to influence vendors and internal stakeholders.Project coordination and multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment.Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving.Job Benefits:BonusVacation DaysVIP Medical InsuranceSchool AssistanceWala PlusAnnual Air TicketMobile AllowanceWellness Allowance
