IT Manager within Business Central (please continue reading even if you're not an 'IT Manager' right now)A high-tech manufacturing company in North Zealand (30 mins from Copenhagen) is seeking an IT Manager to take ownership of their newly implemented Dynamics 365 Business Central system and lead the ongoing digital development of their IT landscape.About the roleYou’ll be responsible for managing and evolving the company’s IT setup with a particular focus on Business Central. This is a broad and hands-on position where you’ll be able to combine technical expertise, business understanding, and leadership.The official job title for this position is IT Manager, but the role would equally suit someone coming from a Technical Architecture or Change Management background - *as long as you bring strong technical knowledge and a deep understanding of Business Central.You don’t need to have been an ERP, Application, or IT Manager before; what matters most is your ability to drive adoption, bridge business and IT, and shape the digital direction of the company - specifically from a Production pov.Key responsibilitiesOversee and optimise Business Central to support production and operational workflowsMigrate existing data, ensure accessibility, and train end-users across departmentsDevelop and configure BC within standard frameworks to meet company-specific requirementsIntegrate BC with other internal systems and toolsContribute to the development of a Shop Floor Management / Production Tracking applicationProvide broader IT support, including Microsoft servers and client systemsYour backgroundSolid experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central (implementation, configuration, troubleshooting)Strong understanding of BC architecture and development (AL, C/AL)Experience with IT management, system integrations, and process optimisation - this could also be from a Project Manager or Architect positionKnowledge within Production/ManufacturingHands-on, proactive, and able to bridge technical and business needsWhy apply?You’ll be joining an innovative, international organisation (16+ nationalities) at a pivotal time of IT transformation; where you can shape both the ERP landscape and the broader digital framework.This is an ideal step for a Business Central expert (wanting to take this kind of strategic step) or IT Manager who enjoys autonomy, variety, and real influence over systems and strategy.
