We are currently looking for an IT Manager Benelux-NordicsWhat is your mission?First of all, you will ensure that within your region the right technology and IT hardware is being used to serve both our external and internal customers. You are responsible for the daily activities of both our development teams and our IT infrastructure teams.In addition, you will play a central role between the IT departments of the Trescal Group and your region to follow the group's (security) policy and best practices. You will monitor IT budgets and work closely with all stakeholders and architects for digital transformation to get things done.More specifically, you will lead development initiatives (lab automation, customer tools, etc.) in line with the commercial strategy and work with stakeholders (customers, other countries, head office, etc.) to optimize performance and improve traceability.You continuously invest in improving the efficiency, reliability, and performance of IT services for users throughout the environment. To do this, you plan and oversee the installation, maintenance, and support of computer systems, all hardware, software, and networks.Together with the Group CIO and the IT Corporate team, you will roll out group solutions as needed.To monitor the IT landscape in your region you will analize resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance, and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects.In addition, you will also be responsible for, among other thingsIT suppliers, contracts, and relationshipsIT-related inventory (end-user devices: desktops, laptops, printers, etc.; servers, network equipment, backup, DRP, etc.)Security (network, software, etc.)Providing the highest level of support to both internal and external customersLocation: You will be based at our modern headquarters (and the world's largest calibration laboratory) in Wommelgem near Antwerpen.You will report to the CIO of Trescal with a dotted line to the country manager of your region.What are we looking for?Master's degree in IT, computer science, or equivalentAt least 6 years of experience in a managerial position in IT Proficient with KPI reporting, project and IT-budget managementKnowledge of dev-ops methods, web development, and CI/CD pipeline management. Azure DevOps is a plusExperience with on-premises IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network)Experience with Cloud migration. Knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365 is a plusAbility to manage both a development team and a support team, experience with ITIL and IT Service Management processes and toolsExperience with cyber security, KPIs and the management of remediation plans. Experience with or interest in ISO standards/IEC 27001 is a plusYou have a roll up your sleeves mentality and are eager to work in a fast paced companyFluent in Dutch and English.
