IT Manager

Our Client is seeking a seasoned and strategic IT Manager to helm their Information Technology department. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of progressive IT management experience, with a proven track record of leading a Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central migration.You will be responsible for the entire multi-site IT infrastructure, supporting approximately 420 employees across our office and production facilities. This role has a strong focus on enhancing our ERP capabilities to optimize manufacturing and supply chain operations, as well as fortifying our cybersecurity posture to meet stringent automotive industry standards. This position is crucial for aligning the technology strategy with business goals and ensuring systems are secure, efficient, and scalable.***NOTE - If you feel you are a stellar fit for this position possessing the experience and qualifications below, please feel free to send your CV directly to ANDY.WETTLAUFER@RANDSTADDIGITAL.COM - due to volumes, only those qualified will be contactedKey ResponsibilitiesERP Strategy & Management:Lead and manage all aspects of our ERP system, taking full ownership of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.Leverage your deep experience from past NAV to Business Central migrations to optimize our system, identify gaps, and implement new modules and functionalities relevant to a manufacturing and plating environment.Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (operations, finance, quality control) and technical teams to ensure the ERP system meets operational needs.Cybersecurity & Compliance:Develop, implement, and enforce a robust cybersecurity framework to protect company data, systems, and sensitive intellectual property, meeting the high standards of our automotive OEM partners.Conduct regular risk assessments, manage threat detection systems, and lead the incident response process.Ensure all IT activities comply with industry standards and data privacy regulations.Infrastructure & Operations:Oversee the management of all IT infrastructure across our three locations, including networks, servers, cloud services (Microsoft 365/Azure), and communication systems.Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all critical IT systems supporting both office and 24/7 manufacturing/plating operations.Provide high-level support for end-users and manage IT vendor relationships.Leadership & Strategic Planning:Develop and execute a long-term IT roadmap that supports business growth, production efficiency, and innovation.Manage the IT department budget, projects, and resources effectively.Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.A minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT management role.Demonstrated, hands-on experience planning and leading at least one full-cycle Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central migration project.Expert-level knowledge of developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and incident response plans.Strong background managing multi-site, Microsoft-centric environments (Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365).Assets:Experience within the manufacturing, industrial processing, or automotive supply chain industry is highly desirable.Experience supporting technology in a 24/7 production environment.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP.
