Company Description The Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization based in Atlanta, dedicated to advancing education from pre-K through Ph.D. SREB was established in 1948 by Southern governors and legislatures to enhance educational and social outcomes in the region. The organization collaborates with 16 member states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, and others, to improve educational access and quality. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Manager, located in Lawrenceville, GA. The IT Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the smooth functioning and security of IT systems. Responsibilities include managing IT staff, coordinating technology-related activities, implementing and maintaining IT policies, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to support their technology needs. Qualifications Experience in IT management, networking, and systems administrationProficiency in IT infrastructure, network security, and systems maintenanceStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of database management and software developmentExceptional leadership and team coordination skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fieldRelevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus
