IT Officer - Hardware and Network Support

Your MissionThe IT Officer - Hardware & Network Support is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware devices, network systems, and related peripherals. This role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations, timely resolution of technical issues, and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime. Once You’re Here, You Will Be: Respond to IT service requests in a timely and professional manner. Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment. Diagnose and repair hardware-related issues, replacing components when necessary.

Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity. Assist in the setup and configuration of network switches, routers, and firewalls under IT management guidance. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and escalate to higher-level support if needed. Must-Haves: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field. At least 2–3 years of experience in hardware and network support. Solid knowledge of PC/laptop hardware, peripheral devices, and basic electronics. Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, Wi-Fi standards, and network troubleshooting tools. Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic server operations. Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and endpoint protection.

Strong problem-solving, time management, and end user support skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
