IT Program Manager

We at Maandag Nordic are now seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused Program Manager to lead and govern a strategic AI initiative with significant impact across an international enterprise environment. This role is central to ensuring that their most ambitious AI investments deliver tangible business value, organizational alignment, and lasting digital transformation. As Program Manager, you will take full ownership of the delivery and execution of a virtual program comprising multiple cross-functional AI projects. You’ll coordinate agile development teams, ensure delivery excellence, and turn strategic intent into real business results.Beyond the technical delivery, you’ll act as a change leader with strong stakeholder skills, aligning business and IT, clarifying the opportunities and challenges of automation, and ensuring the organization is equipped to adapt and scale new AI-driven ways of working. This role suits a technically grounded Program Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and organizational change — someone who can both drive delivery and bring people along on the transformation journey.Key responsibilities:Lead and oversee a portfolio of strategic AI initiatives, ensuring alignment, governance, and delivery excellence. Build and maintain a clear program structure that combines agile ways of working with transparency, accountability, and value realization. Mobilize the organization around the project — from executive leadership to operational teams. Collaborate closely with C-level executives and key stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and facilitating decision-making at the highest level. Identify and remove roadblocks, bottlenecks, and risks to maintain pace and momentum. Ensure effective tracking, measurement, and communication of progress and business impact across the program. Job requirementsTo be successful in this role, we believe that you have:- Solid experience as Program Manager in leading large-scale change programs within complex, international organizations Proven experience in leading programs with a budget from at least 100 miljon SEK a year or 1 biljon SEK overall- Proven ability to drive transformation across organizational boundaries, build engagement, and translate strategic vision into concrete action Strong track record in stakeholder management and change management at a strategic level Strong leadership and interpersonal skills – able to inspire, influence, and build trust and transparency at all levels including executive management Fluent in English, both in written and verbal language Willing to travel from time to timeYou combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrive in environments where transformation, innovation, and collaboration are at the core.
