Fuelled by growing ambition and the strength of Oxford's science ecosystem, EIT is now expanding its footprint to a 2 million sq ft Campus across the western part of The Oxford Science Park. We are curious and resilient in our efforts to drive long-term, sustainable innovation to meet humanity's most enduring challenges.Reporting to the IT Director, EIT are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead, coordinate, and oversee all IT-related elements of multiple fit-out projects as part of the creation of a new campus. This role is central to ensuring that technology infrastructure and services are seamlessly integrated into the design, construction, and operationalisation of new spaces. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and technology vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready IT solutions aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT components across multiple campus fit-out projectsAct as primary liaison between IT, construction teams, architects, facilities, and contractorsEnsure IT requirements are embedded from design through to operational handoverOversee installation of infrastructure: structured cabling, networking, AV, security, and smart building technologiesDevelop and maintain IT-specific project plans, RAID logs, issue resolution tracking and reporting to stakeholdersPartner and engage with senior leadership, end-users, technical teams and other business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate into actionable plansManage external vendors and suppliers to ensure technical and contractual complianceIdentify and mitigate risks related to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and service continuityEnsure quality control and validation of IT systems prior to handoverLead testing, commissioning, and documentation of IT systems before occupancySupport smooth transition to business-as-usual operations, including training and knowledge transferConduct and manage post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvementRequirementsProven experience as an IT Project Manager in large-scale construction or campus development projectsStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure: networking, AV, security systems, data centres, and end-user techFamiliarity with smart building technologies and modern workspace integrationExcellent vendor and contract management skills, including procurement and negotiationProficiency in project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile)Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capabilitiesHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and demands effectivelyClear and concise communicator, both verbally and in writingAdaptable to shifting business priorities and able to adjust plans accordingly in an evolving, scaling environmentBenefitsWe offer the following salary and benefits:Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 (dependent on experience), plus bonus & travel allowanceEnhanced holiday pay Pension Life AssuranceIncome ProtectionPrivate Medical Insurance Hospital Cash PlanTherapy ServicesPerk BoxElectric Car SchemeWhy work for EIT:At the Ellison Institute, we believe a collaborative, inclusive team is key to our success.
