About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead innovative High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI R&D initiatives within a global energy and technology environment. The successful candidate will deliver complex digital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and adherence to established project delivery frameworks.You will oversee projects up to $5M in value, with teams of up to 20 professionals, working across hybrid environments that combine on-premise infrastructure and cloud capabilities to support advanced scientific and AI-driven applications.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and control end-to-end project delivery across digital, infrastructure, and R&D programs.Manage projects following agile and waterfall methodologies, ensuring effective governance, assurance, and compliance throughout the lifecycle.Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across technical, business, and vendor teams.Oversee scope, budget, timelines, risk management, and reporting in alignment with project KPIs.Collaborate with cross-functional experts to deliver cloud-based, mobile, SaaS, and digital platform solutions.Ensure effective vendor management, contract adherence, and performance oversight.Support innovation through AI and HPC integration, enabling accelerated research and computational capabilities.Build and lead high-performing teams through clear direction, resilience, and motivation during complex delivery phases.Required Skills & ExperienceProject Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent).Proven experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments.Strong background in Cloud, Mobile, SaaS, Digital Platforms, and IT Infrastructure.Expertise in governance, assurance, risk management, stakeholder management, and financial control.Skilled in project scoping, budgeting, planning, tracking, and vendor management.Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.Sound domain knowledge across one or more of the following: Energy, Manufacturing, Research, or Enterprise IT.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years managing large-scale or complex projects (up to $5M, 10–20 team members).Demonstrated resilience and storytelling abilities to drive stakeholder alignment.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and emerging technologies such as AI, HPC, and Cloud R&D.
