Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. The designated business and solid setup offer outstanding development potentials for R4 itself but consequently also for all employees, because there will be lots of interesting jobs in an international and dynamic work environment.In order to achieve our common goals, we count on youIn this strategic role you’ll be the primary liaison between Rheinmetall’s key IT service providers, ensuring effective collaboration, contract compliance, and continuous service improvement in alignment with business needs. In this role you’ll be working directly with the Senior Vice President of Strategy & GovernanceTake ownership of tracking and analyzing provider performance to guarantee alignment with agreed SLAs and KPIs, driving accountability and ensuring all contractual commitments are delivered to standard (or above)Facilitate structured performance review sessions with providers to ensure their service remain aligned with evolving business needs and predefined service expectationsWork closely with Rheinmetall’s providers to resolve issues efficiently and manage escalations effectively and strengthening long -term partnershipsIdentify opportunities for service enhancement, propose actionable improvements, and collaborate with providers to implement effective, ongoing service optimization initiativesEnsure that external service providers are integrated into internal IT operations and service delivery workflows, enabling consistent and uninterrupted performanceCollaborate closely with service owners and the Service Excellence Manager to proactively address provider-related issues and identify improvement opportunitiesParticipate in IT risk assessments with the service providersCollaborate in sourcing and support IT Procurement Manager in contract renewals, (re)negotiations, and terminations)Participate and drive the further development and implementation of a Provider Management FrameworkWhat you will need for successful workBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Law or a related fieldExperience in steering of external providers at a multinational company in the field of ITStrong understanding of IT outsourcing and multi-provider environmentsDeep understanding and proven knowledge in IT contract managementExperience with SLA definition, monitoring, and reportingKnowledge of IT service delivery and governanceFamiliarity with compliance and risk aspects in provider managementAbility to drive accountability and performance in external relationshipStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levelsGood proficiency in English and in GermanWhat we are happy aboutExperience in defense / manufacturing companyWhat we offerTake over an important and challenging role with high visibilityBecome part of the unique growth stories of Rheinmetall and 4iG, which offer outstanding development and career opportunitiesGain insight into the defense and automotive industryMake use of the broad network with over 40.000 great colleagues at Rheinmetall and 4iG worldwideBenefit from various professional trainings and eventsEnjoy our international and flexible work environment with an official office in Budapest but up to 90% mobile work
