IT QA Engineer

We are actively seeking highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineers to join our dedicated Engineering team, contributing to product excellence and overcoming complex technical challenges; we are currently recruiting across various seniority levels, ranging from Middle Level (requiring a minimum of 3 years of professional experience) up to Senior QA Engineer, and invite qualified candidates with deep expertise in Manual Testing, Test Automation, and/or Performance Engineering to apply.Key Responsibilities:Review and analyze system specifications, user stories, and functional requirements.Collaborate with developers to develop effective testing strategies and plans.Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios/scripts.Execute manual test cases and analyze the results.Design, create, and execute automation scripts using Katalon and the Java programming language for the automation role.Review manual test cases to provide feedback on their suitability for automation.Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation activities (including regression testing).Evaluate product code against specifications.Create detailed logs to document testing phases and defects.Report bugs and errors to the development team using tools like JIRA.Assist the team in troubleshooting problems and verifying fixes.Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the entire development lifecycle.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven professional experience as a QA Engineer focusing on both manual and automation testing.Strong proficiency in test tools like Katalon Studio for the automation role.Familiarity with other programming languages, such as PHP, Java, or Python, is a plus.Proficient in SQL for database validation and backend testing.Hands-on experience with bug tracking and project management tools, particularly JIRA.Deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Notes:This position is for contractual position under VLink Inc.The position will be fully onsite in Jakarta (WFO).The position will be placed in the Banking, Financial Services, or Telecommunications sector.
