Key ResponsibilitiesAs the IT Security Manager, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding the organization's digital assets. Your role will span across strategy, operations, and stakeholder engagement, including:1. Security Operations & Incident ManagementLead the response to cybersecurity incidents and conduct post-event analysis.Work closely with internal teams and SOC to monitor and address threats.Stay updated on emerging risks and share relevant intelligence with stakeholders.Participate in simulations, audits, and assessments to improve readiness.2. Security Tools & Vulnerability ManagementManage and analyse security events using SIEM platforms (e.g. Splunk, Cortex).Conduct vulnerability scans on applications, systems, and devices.3. Governance & CompliancePerform regular security reviews to ensure alignment with policies and standards.Recommend improvements based on audit findings and risk assessments.Ensure systems meet secure configuration benchmarks (e.g. CIS standards).4. Infrastructure & Endpoint ProtectionOversee the configuration and optimisation of security tools across environments.Manage security across networks, systems, and endpoints.Conduct periodic access reviews for cloud and on-prem systems.5.
