Job Description

IT Support Support Engineer L2Location: Queenstown, New ZealandDuration: 5month contract The L2 engineer will be selected based on the technical requirements of the hotel environments. The engineer is expected to possess the relevant skills and experience to handle a broad range of IT support tasks typically associated with L2 responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to, hardware and software troubleshooting, network support, system configuration, and assisting with local infrastructure issues. In addition to supporting hotel staff, engineers may also be required to assist end customers (hotel guests or clients) where IT challenges affect the guest experience, provided the issue falls within the scope of their assigned responsibilities and under the direction of hotel management or IHG’s central IT. Level 2 Skills matrix: • User Device Deployment (physical) • Physical installation of infrastructure kit • Physical patch and power connectivity• Physical connection to LAN / WAN Configuration template upload (pre–written)• Work with customer NOC for testing • Physical equipment audit Equipment / patch labelling• Decommissioning Manual configuration (using LCD, browser or Application)• Install and configure Infrastructure kit • Local feature testing• Logical configuration audit and analysis
