Job Description
We are looking for a part-time contractor who will be available for ad hoc assignments. The role combines remote end-user support with on-site interventions for hardware-related issues and complex incidents that cannot be resolved remotely. Support Engineers will act as an extension of the IT team, handling escalated cases from the Service Desk, performing hands-on troubleshooting, and providing smart-hands support when needed. On-site visits are conducted as required, ensuring business continuity and adherence to SLA targets across the regions. Your tasks Providing remote and on-site technical support at customer locations in response to service requests (on demand)Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devicesPerforming hardware upgrades, replacements, and initial equipment setups at client sitesTroubleshooting and resolving network connectivity problems (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) both remotely and on-siteInstalling and configuring software applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)Providing remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, or remote access toolsLogging and managing incidents and service requests using the internal ticketing systemSupporting users with account access, password resets, and other routine service tasks (including Active Directory)Ensuring compliance with company security policies and IT standards during all support activitiesRequirementsMinimum one year of experience in a similar positionGood knowledge of computer hardware and basic configuration components, printer/scanner configuration and troubleshootingExperience with configuring MS Outlook, Teams, and working knowledge of MS Word and MS ExcelUnderstanding of LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi network configuration and maintenanceProficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and basic troubleshooting stepsKnowledge of Active Directory and user account managementFamiliarity with remote desktop tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP)Possession of an active driver's licenseJob no. 251024-OXKWGBenefits For YouDiverse portfolio of clientsWide portfolio of technologiesEmployment stabilityRemote work opportunitiesContracts with the biggest brandsGreat Place to Work EuropeMany experts you can learn fromOpen and accessible management team
