IT System Administrator

Join our team as we seek a dynamic IT System Administrator to spearhead IT operations at Taalas. We are looking for a candidate with a strong cultural alignment to our company who is eager to embark on a journey of learning and growth with us.Job ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage complete network infrastructure, including firewall configuration, ISP, LAN setup, and WiFi administrationConfigure, procure and setup of laptops, servers, and network inventoryMaintenance and administration of Google Workspace, Office365, Azure, Development cloud, etcServer farm/Data center setup and maintenance, including rack and stack, automated OS deployment and remote managementImplement and enforce IT security policies and procedures, including access control, endpoint security, and vulnerability management, to protect against security threats and breachesParticipate in IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project deliveryStay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT system administrationFor individuals with the potential and passion, there are exciting opportunities for future growth into team management, devops, SRE, and moreRequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProficiency in MacOS and Linux operating systemsStrong knowledge of networking concepts and protocolsExperience with IT security principles and practicesExcellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues independently and efficientlyStrong communication and collaboration skillsInterested in joining our team?
